Patriotic Golf Car Parade

• Date: Monday, July 4, 2022 [We cannot do the parade on Sat. or Sun.]
• Time: Sign up by Noon. Lineup at 2 PM, Parade Begins at 3 PM
• Venue: Line up between Big Sandy @ iCare and the K-Section

An Ocean Lakes tradition honoring our country’s Independence Day! Decorate your Golf Car, put on your red, white, and blue, and bring your water! Ocean Lakes’ parade features hundreds of golf cars. Pick up a parade route map and enter our contest via the Recreation Office. Participants need to sign up for their golf car’s number.

Coastal Clean Up Day

• Venue: Meet at Sandy’s Snack Shak (near the Oceanfront Observation Deck)

The Nature Center is hosting a beach clean up in accordance with International Coastal Clean Up Day. We’d love your help! Please bring a bucket or bag to collect trash on the mile of beach in front of the campground. Learn more…

Bluegrass Weekend

• Date: August 26-27, 2022
• Time: Concerts start Friday at 7 PM, Saturday at 2 PM
• Venue: Ocean Lakes Recreation Center

Featuring: FRIDAY – The Cleverlys, and Breaking Grass.  SATURDAY – New Dixie Storm, Joe Mullins & The Radio Ramblers, and the Lonesome River Band. Wristbands cover both days, Adult are only $65 per person in advance (in addition to your site fee) and $70 day of shows. Kids 6 and under are free, ages 7-12 are $40.

Fall Craft Fair

• Date: September 16-17, 2022
• Friday: 1 PM – 7 PM
• Saturday: 9 AM – 3 PM
• Venue: Ocean Lakes Recreation Center

Enjoy two sets of vendors (Friday vs. Saturday) for unique, handcrafted items. Exclusive craft shopping for Ocean Lakes guests.

5 Halloweekends

• Date: Sept. 30-Oct.1, 7-8,14-15, 21-22, 28-29, 2022 and Oct. 6-7, 13-14, 20-21, 27-28, 2023
• Time: Events begin Friday evening and all day Saturday.
• Venue: throughout Ocean Lakes and the Recreation Center

October is a beautiful time to be a Ocean Lakes! Halloweekends feature family friendly fun where everyone decorates their site and gets creative. Each weekend features costume contests (humans and pets), pumpkin carving, trick o’ treat and more. Enjoy this Halloween tradition at the beach with us!

Thanksgiving and Christmas Season Events

• Time: Events throughout week and all day Saturday.

Kamp Starfish

Our Kid’s Kamp Starfish counselors are waiting for you at the Recreation Center. All 4-11 year old children who are guests or full time residents are welcome to enroll. Our Open to guests & residents of Ocean Lakes. Daily session: Monday-Friday, 9 am – 12 Noon. Registration daily: 9 am – 9:30 am. Fees: 5 days – $40 or $10 per day. Our activities include music, crafts, group games, snack and nature activities. Each child will receive a Kamp Starfish souvenir. Brochures available in the Rec. Office. Rooms A & B.
